AUT Moanaroa Pacific Research Symposium
The 11th of September 2025 was a day of talanoa, celebration and visioning for Pacific research futures. From honouring our pioneers to launching the AUT Pacific Research Guidelines to sharing keynote insights on Pacific resilience and leadership, we stood together in vā, guided by wisdom, love and collective strength.
With immense gratitude to some of our pioneers of Pacific research who paved the way:
Prof. Konai Helu-Thaman, Dr. Timote Vaioleti, Fuimaono, Dr. Karl Pulotu-Endemann, Mama Teremoana MaUa-Hodges and Tangaloatele Emeritus Professor Peggy Fairbairn-Dunlop – whose wisdom, courage and legacy continue to light our path.
