Moanaroa mana ola - a conference at AUT

Welcome to Moanaroa Mana Ola 2026: Navigating Health Together.

Guided by the Fijian proverb "E dua na liga e sega ni bau tara na koro" meaning one hand alone cannot build a village, Moanaroa Mana Ola brings together Pacific researchers, students, practitioners, policymakers, and community partners to strengthen the health and wellbeing of our communities through collaboration, talanoa, knowledge exchange and Pacific-led research.

This conference is a space to connect, learn and share. Together, we will explore innovative research, celebrate Indigenous knowledge, amplify community voices and strengthen partnerships that support healthier futures for Pacific peoples. Through keynote presentations, workshops, breakout sessions and meaningful talanoa, we invite delegates to engage in conversations that inspire action and collective impact.

Whether you are a researcher, practitioner, student, community leader or advocate, Moanaroa Mana Ola offers an opportunity to contribute your knowledge, share your experiences and be part of a growing movement dedicated to Pacific wellbeing.

We warmly invite you to join us as we navigate health together and build stronger pathways for our
